Resignation of Non-Executive Director

TomCo Energy plc, the oil shale exploration and development company focused on using innovative technology to unlock unconventional hydrocarbon resources, announces today that Mr Simon Corney, a non-executive director of the Company, has tendered his resignation from the Board, effective 31 December 2016. Simon joined the board in July 2015 and was previously a partner at Altima Partners, a significant shareholder in TomCo until earlier this year.

Commenting on today's announcement, Mr Andrew Jones, Executive Chairman of TomCo, said: "I would like to thank Simon for his valuable and constructive contribution to the Board of TomCo Energy over the last year and a half and wish him well in his retirement. The Company intends to seek a new independent non-executive director to replace Simon ".
