Directorate Change - Colin Tranter Retires

The Board of JJB announces that Colin Tranter has decided to retire as a director of JJB Sports and will leave the Company with immediate effect.

 The Board wishes to express its thanks to Colin for all he has achieved since he joined the Board in May 2009. He has chosen to spend more time with his wife and grandchildren and the Board wishes him a happy retirement.

Keith Jones, the Company's new CEO, has taken personal responsibility for retail and product in the short term.

The Company has seen an improvement in trading and will update the market on its prospects and future strategy when it publishes its Preliminary Results on May 27 2010.
