Directorate Change

The Board of AAA is pleased to announce that Mr Neil Lindsey Herbert has been appointed to the role of Non-Executive Chairman with immediate effect. Mr Herbert will replace the current Non-Executive Chairman, Mr Andrew Monk, who will remain on the board as a Non-Executive Director.

Mr Herbert is an entrepreneur and investor with a strong background of managing African businesses, experience in the food processing industry and was previously a director of the Company. He has worked in the resource sector since he joined Chilean copper miner Antofagasta PLC in 1998, having previously been employed by PwC in Europe. Until May 2013, he was Co-Chairman and Managing Director of Polo Resources Ltd. Neil has managed companies through project acquisitions, disposals, mine development, stock market listings and fund raising and has considerable experience as a director.

Neil Herbert is interested in 6,000,000 ordinary shares in AAA, representing approximately 6.3% of the Company’s issued share capital; 1,839,046 options exercisable at 1p, expiring 5 September 2022; and 6,000,000 warrants exercisable at 2.75p, expiring on 31 January 2017.
