cheerful scout plc, the AIM-traded multi-media specialist, announces that after nine years as Non-Executive Chairman, Stuart Appleton, is to resign from the board, effective from 30 June 2011, to concentrate on his other business matters.

Gary Fitzpatrick, Managing Director, commented "Stuart has given provided council and guidance over the last nine years and we wish him well for the future".
