5 February 2007 Amteus plc (the "Company") Directorate Change

The Company announces that Simon Patrick Duffy, aged 57, has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with immediate effect. Mr Duffy is currently Executive Chairman of QXL Ricardo PLC and was, until recently, Executive Vice Chairman of NTL:Telewest Inc. Prior to NTL, Mr Duffy served in senior positions at Orange SA, End2End AS, WorldOnline and EMI Group PLC.

Mr Duffy's current directorships include Oger Telecom Limited, QXL Ricardo plc, Cell-C (Pty) Ltd (Chairman) and iMedia Ltd (Chairman). Former directorships within the past five years include NTL:Telewest Inc, Tiscali Spa, GWR Group plc, Orange SA and Imperial Tobacco Group Plc.

Simon Duffy has confirmed there is no further information required to be disclosed under paragraph 17 of the AIM Rules.
