FURTHER BOARD CHANGES

Further to the announcements of Board changes on 26 June 2008 and 17 July 2008, the Company today announces the appointment of Jim Glover as a Non-Executive Chairman. Tanith Dodge, an existing Non-Executive Director of the Company, will replace Jim Glover as Chairman of the Remuneration and Appointments Committee. The current Non-Executive Chairman, Bob Ivell, will be leaving the Company with immediate effect. Commenting on his appointment, Jim Glover said:

"I am delighted to assume the new role at Regent Inns plc at this time and, on behalf of the Company, would like to thank Bob for all his efforts and contribution to the Company during his time as Chairman."
