Director Appointment

The Board of Kingspan Group Plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Daniel Kitchen as a non-executive director of the Company, with effect from the 1 March 2009. 

Mr Kitchen, who was previously a non-executive director of Kingspan up until 2003, is currently appointed by the Irish Stock Exchange as its nominated Director on the Irish Takeover Panel, and is a Non-Executive Director of the Irish Nationwide Building Society since October 2008.

Previously, Mr Kitchen has held a number of senior executive positions including as director of IBI Corporate Finance, Finance Director of Green Property Plc. and Deputy CEO of Heron International Limited.

Mr Kitchen holds an interest in 3,000 shares in the Company. There are no disclosures required to be made pursuant to Rules 6.6.7 (2) to (6) of the Listing Rules.
