Personal Group Holdings Plc ("the Company") DIRECTOR SHAREHOLDING

The Company has today been informed by Mr Christopher Johnston, Chairman that on 15 January 2008 a total of 169,479 Ordinary Shares of 5p each were sold, at a price of 303.5 pence per share to his Self Invested Personal Pension plan. There have been no changes to his ultimate beneficial ownership.

Following this transaction, Mr Johnston remains interested in 15,476,393 shares, representing 50.66% of the total shares in issue.
