The Company received notification on 11 December 2009 that Mr. A. Long, Executive Director of Mears Group PLC, acquired 4,108 ordinary shares of 1p each under the Group's Save As You Earn share option scheme, at a price of 230p per share. This purchase comprises Mr. A. Long's total interest in Mears' ordinary shares.
