Dairy Crest Group PLC22 March 2005 22nd March 2005 Dairy Crest Group - Director Shareholding QUEST On 21st March 2005 Dairy Crest allotted a further 50,524 ordinary shares to theTrustee of the Dairy Crest Qualifying Employee Share Ownership Trust ('QUEST')at 425p per share to enable the QUEST to satisfy maturing options under thestaff Sharesave Scheme. After satisfying these particular options the QUEST willhold no shares in Dairy Crest. Dairy Crest intends to terminate the QUEST during the maturity of its SharesaveScheme currently taking place. Final allotments of shares to the QUEST duringthe termination process will be in respect of maturing options held by employeesother than the Directors who will no longer be potential future beneficiaries ofthe QUEST.
