Director Shareholding

VinaCapital Investment Management Ltd. ("VCIM") announces that it has on 10 August 2010 acquired 2,000,000 ordinary shares of US$0.01 each ("Ordinary Shares") in VNI at a price of US$0.35 per Ordinary Share. As a result of this transaction, VCIM is interested in 4,030,000 Ordinary Shares which represents 1.0025 percent of VNI's total voting rights.

As a consequence of his interests in the parent company to VCIM, Horst Geicke now has an indirect interest in VNI of 4,030,000 Ordinary Shares in addition to his existing direct interest in 1,000,000 Ordinary Shares of VNI.

As a consequence of his interest in the parent company to VCIM, Don Lam now has an indirect interest in VNI of 4,030,000 Ordinary Shares in addition to his existing direct interest in 700,000 Ordinary Shares of VNI.
