Dairy Crest Group PLC14 March 2005 14th March 2005 Dairy Crest Group - Director Shareholding QUEST On 14th March 2005 Dairy Crest allotted a further 79,773 ordinary shares to theTrustee of the Dairy Crest Qualifying Employee Share Ownership Trust ('QUEST')at 438p per share to enable the QUEST to satisfy maturing options under thestaff Sharesave Scheme. After satisfying these particular options the QUEST willhold no shares in Dairy Crest. Drummond Hall, Alastair Murray, Mark Allen and Peter Thornton, as directors ofDairy Crest, are potential beneficiaries under the QUEST (together with all ofthe bona fide employees and former employees of Dairy Crest) and are thereforeinterested in the Dairy Crest shares allotted.
