Director Shareholding

Central Asia Metals plc (AIM:CAML), was yesterday informed of the following disposal of the Company's ordinary shares of US$0.01 each ("Ordinary Shares") on 18 June 2012 by Dr Michael Price, a non-executive Director of the Company.

Dr Price disposed of 245,000 Ordinary Shares at a price of 78.76 pence per Ordinary Share. Following this disposal, Dr Price has an interest in a total of 206,000 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.24 % of the issued share capital of the Company. Of this balance, 200,000 are held by Dr Price personally, and 6,000 shares are held by his wife, Shona Price.
