Director Declaration

Mountview Estates P.L.C. is pleased to announce the appointment of James Laing, FRICS, as a non-executive director with effect from 1 January 2009.

Educated at Eton and the Royal Agricultural College, he qualified as an Associate of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1972 and became a Fellow in 1978. 

In 1970 he joined Strutt and Parker Property Consultants and Estates Agents where he became a partner in 1976. He is also a non-executive director of an HBOS investment fund. 

James's 38 years of experience in the residential and rural property markets will provide an invaluable contribution to the Company.

The Company confirms that there is no further information to be disclosed under paragraphs 9.6.13 (1) to (6) of the Listing Rules in respect of the appointment of James Laing as a non-executive director.
