Holding in Company, Director dealing and exercise of Share options

 

Proton Motor Power Systems plc (AIM: PPS), the designer, developer and producer of fuel cells and fuel cell electric hybrid systems with a zero-carbon footprint, announces that it has been informed that, on 10 February 2020, SFN Cleantech Investment Ltd ("SFN"), a company in which Dr Faiz Nahab, CEO of the Company, has a 2% interest in the issued share capital, sold 50,000 ordinary shares in Proton ("Ordinary Shares") on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange at an average price of EUR 0.45 per Ordinary Share and 250 Ordinary Shares on the London Stock Exchange at an average price of GBP 0.39 per Ordinary Share.

 

In addition, on 11 February 2020, 145,000 Ordinary Shares were sold by SFN on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange at an average price of EUR 0.45 per Ordinary Share and 30,400 Ordinary Shares were sold on the London Stock Exchange at an average price of GBP 0.39 per Ordinary Share.

 

Following the above transactions SFN holds 591,387,510 Ordinary Shares representing 88.21 per cent of the Company's issued share capital.

 

Proton also announces that following the exercise of share options at 3 pence per Ordinary Share, application has been made for the admission to AIM ("Admission") of 800,000 new Ordinary Shares which is expected to take effect around 20 February 2020.

 

Total Voting Rights

Following Admission, the Company's issued share capital will comprise 671,594,072 Ordinary Shares. The Company does not hold any Ordinary Shares in treasury. This figure may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
