Completion of placing of existing ordinary shares in The Gym Group Plc

Further to the announcement on 21 March 2018, Barralina Asset Management GmbH ("Barralina" or the "Seller") announces that it has sold its remaining stake in The Gym Group Plc (the "Company").

The sale was conducted through a placing of 5,000,000 existing ordinary shares in the Company (the "Placing Shares") with institutional investors by means of an accelerated bookbuild offering (the "Placing").

The Placing Shares represent in aggregate approximately 3.90 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company. Settlement of the Placing is expected to take place on 26 March 2018.

Joh. Berenberg, Gossler & Co. KG, London Branch ("Berenberg") acted as sole bookrunner and placing agent in relation to the Placing.
