Anglo-Eastern Plantations PLC07 June 2007 Thursday 7 June 2007 ANGLO-EASTERN PLANTATIONS PLC Completion of Cahaya Pelita Andhika acquisition On 17 May 2007, AEP announced that it had entered into a contract to acquire,for $6.37 million, 90% of the issued share capital of PT Cahaya Pelita Andhika,an Indonesian company whose principal asset is an oil palm estate in theprovince of North Sumatra with a land title area of 4,469 ha, of which 2,750 haare planted. AEP now announces the completion of that transaction. Following the acquisition, AEP's total planted area is 37,800 ha and its totalland area is 49,300 ha.
