2nd February 2006APPOINTMENT OF NEW COMPANY SECRETARY AND CFO IN CONSOLIDATION OF CORPORATE AND OPERATIONS OFFICES IN SYDNEY COPPER RESOURCES CORPORATION ("CRC") In line with the Board's decision to consolidate the corporate office inToronto with the management and operations office in Sydney, Toronto-based Ms.Elia Crespo has resigned as Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer andtoday Sydney-based Mr. George Bru has accepted the appointment to replace herin these functions.Aged 49, Mr. Bru has over 20 years wide-ranging experience in finance andaccounting in a variety of industries in Australia, Asia and Africa.
