Clarification
Further to the announcement earlier today of the exercise of options by Richard Shead, Chairman, the board of Oxus Gold (the "Board") would like to clarify details in relation to the exercised options.
The options exercised today represent the remaining two tranches of options that were granted on 13 March 2012, the terms of which were announced at that time.
On 13 December 2012, the Board varied the earliest dates from which any unexercised options from the 13 March 2012 grant could be exercised. These options became exercisable from 14 December 2012 and were duly exercised earlier today.
