On 20th May 2008 Greatland Gold plc (the "Company") received notification that Starvest plc ("Starvest") had on 20 May 2008 purchased on-market a further 2,000,000 ordinary shares in the Company. Starvest currently holds 16,000,000 ordinary shares representing 8.14% of the issued share capital.
