Independent News & Media PLC28 March 2008 Independent News & Media PLC ("INM" or "the Company") Brochure of Particulars Application has been made to the Irish Stock Exchange and to the UK ListingAuthority for 39,000,000 Ordinary Shares of Nominal Value €0.30 each, in thecapital of INM, to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authorityand to the Official List of the Irish Stock Exchange and application has beenmade to the London Stock Exchange for these shares to be admitted to trading.Such admission is expected to become effective and dealings to commence in theseshares on 3 April 2008. These shares are issued in satisfaction of the consideration for the acquisitionof the remaining 50% of Clear Channel Independent pursuant to the terms of acontract dated 17 January 2008.
