Board Update
The Company announced the retirement of Merryn Somerset Webb, with effect from 31 December 2020, in its Half-Year Report for the period ended 30 September 2020. The Board would like to thank Ms Somerset Webb for her significant contribution to the Company since her appointment in 2011 as Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and as Senior Independent Director.
Following Ms Somerset Webb's retirement, Gordon Neilly will become Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and Caroline Roxburgh will become Senior Independent Director.
In accordance with section 430(2B) of the Companies Act 2006, the Company confirms that Ms Somerset Webb will receive payment of any accrued fees for service whilst a Director but no other remuneration payment or payment for loss of office will made in connection with or after her departure.
