BOARD CHANGE

City of London (LSE: CLIG), a leading emerging markets asset management group, announces that Lynn Ruddick has notified the Board of her intention to stand down as a non-executive director following the Company's Preliminary Results announcement in September 2013, in order that she can devote more time to her other business commitments.

David Cardale, Chairman of City of London, said, "We will be very sorry to see Lynn leave, but we understand and respect her need to balance her commitments, and on behalf of the Board I would like to express our gratitude for her past and future contribution to our deliberations."
