JKX Oil & Gas PLC21 March 2005 JKX Oil & Gas PLC ("JKX" or the "Company") Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and to the London StockExchange for admission to the Official List for the block listing of 4,200,000new ordinary shares which may be issued from time to time under three of theCompany's share option schemes, comprising up to 3,000,000 new ordinary sharesunder the 2001 JKX Inland Revenue Approved Share Option Scheme, 1,000,000 newordinary shares under the 2001 JKX Unapproved Share Option Scheme and 200,000new ordinary shares under the 1995 JKX No.2 Share Option Scheme. These shares,will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares in issue. It is expectedthat admission will become effective on 24 March 2005.
