Range Resources Ltd ("Range") wishes to advise that trading in its securities on the Australian Securities Exchange ("ASX") has been halted pending the release of an announcement in relation to a potential management change. It is expected that an announcement providing details of this change will be released prior to the commencement of trading on Friday 24 October 2008 and that trading in its securities will then resume on the ASX. Range's shares will continue to trade on the AIM market during this period.
