Aster Group plans merger with Disability charity Enham Trust

Aster Group and disability charity, Enham Trust have today announced they are in early talks for Enham Trust to join Aster Group, subject to consultation and final approval in the autumn.

Aster Group, headquartered in Wiltshire, is a not-for-dividend housing association with over 35,000 homes, 1,720 employees and a turnover of £240.9 million. It serves customers across the south of England.

Enham Trust based in Andover, Hampshire is a disability charity that supports disabled people to live and work as independently as possible. Enham Trust owns 300+ homes including those for social rent, supported living and residential care services.

The partnership would increase Aster's net assets by £5m to £894m based on the most recent audited financial statements of each entity.
