Appointment to National Graphene Association Advisory Board

Versarien plc (AIM: VRS), the advanced materials engineering group, is pleased to announce that Neill Ricketts, the Company's CEO, has been appointed to the advisory board of the United States National Graphene Association ("NGA").

The NGA is currently the main organization and body in the United States advocating and promoting the commercialsation of graphene. The NGA serves as the nexus to bring together current and future graphene stakeholders - entrepreneurs, companies, researchers, developers and suppliers, investors, venture capitalists and government agencies to drive innovation, and to expedite and facilitate the commercialisation of graphene products and technologies in the United States and globally.

More information on the NGA may be found at https://www.nationalgrapheneassociation.com/

Neill Ricketts, CEO of Versarien, commented: "I am delighted to have been invited to join the NGA's Advisory Board. The NGA is at the forefront of promoting the commercialisation of graphene in the United States and more widely.

"Our involvement with the NGA, coupled with our recently opened US sales office in Palo Alto, California, will enable us to further exploit the significant opportunities we are seeing in the US. We are developing strong relationships globally and having just returned from the UK Government trade delegation to China, where we have recently announced our plans to establish a world leading high quality graphene manufacturing facility and are seeing numerous opportunities, I believe Versarien is extremely well positioned to exploit the opportunities afforded by the adoption of graphene worldwide."
