 Appointment to the Board

IFG Group plc is pleased to announce that at a meeting of the Board of Directors held yesterday 29th July 2014 Paul McNamara was unanimously co-opted to the IFG Group plc Board.

Paul took up the position of Chief Executive Officer of IFG Group this week which was the subject of a previous announcement by the Group.

Paul McNamara has significant financial services experience. He comes to IFG having been Managing Director of Investments and Insurance at Barclays and he has previously held senior roles at Standard Life Group, HBOS (now Lloyds Banking Group), AXA UK, McKinsey & Company and the Bank of Ireland Group. He is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in the UK and of the Society of Actuaries in Ireland. He also holds an MBA from Cass Business School at City University London.
