Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

Mickey Kalifa appointed Chief Financial Officer of Sportech PLC

Sportech PLC ("Sportech" / the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mickey Kalifa as Chief Financial Officer.

Mickey will commence the handover process from Cliff Baty on 4 January 2016, and will officially take over as CFO upon the announcement of the Company's results for the year ended 31 December 2015 on 3 March 2016. Cliff Baty will leave the Board and the Company on this date.

Mickey, aged 48, has served as Corporate Development Director of Sportech for the last six years and during this time has played an important role in the acquisition and subsequent development of the Company's activities in North America. Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC), Mickey has extensive experience in finance and executive director roles, in the UK and US, with some of the world's largest media and technology companies, including Young & Rubicam, Disney, Time Warner, BSkyB and Liberty Media. His appointment has been made following the completion of an appropriate search process.
