Appointment of CEO

President Energy PLC, the South American focused E&P company, is pleased to announce the appointment of John Hamilton as CEO. John, currently a Director of President, will work closely alongside Peter Levine, Executive Chairman, to deliver on the strategic goals of the Company.

John, 46, is a Director of Levine Capital Management, a cornerstone investor in President, and was previously Group Finance Director of Imperial Energy Corporation PLC until its acquisition in 2008. Prior to joining Imperial, he held senior positions over a 14 year career at ABN AMRO, where he predominantly focused on the oil & gas sector. He holds a BA from Hamilton College and an MBA from Rotterdam School of Management and New York University.

Commenting on John Hamilton's appointment, Peter Levine said:
