British SmallerTechCompaniesVCT2PLC 12 July 2006 BRITISH SMALLER TECHNOLOGY COMPANIES VCT 2 PLC ("the Company") ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING The Company announces that the Annual General Meeting was held on 10 July 2006 and all the resolutions proposed were duly passed. Commenting on trading since 31 March 2006 when the Company announced a small increase in the net asset value since its year end, the Chairman, Sir Andrew Hugh Smith, said that there continued to be early stage corporate interest in a number of investments within the portfolio, but it was still too early to say if this would lead to realisations.
