Tecteon PLC27 January 2006 TECTEON PLC AGM Statement At the Annual General Meeting of Tecteon plc ("the Company" or "Tecteon") heldtoday, Masoud Alikhani, the Chairman, made the following comments: "Tecteon has made significant progress in the last 12 months by providing voicequality (VQ) technology to a targeted segment of the potential market. We havesuccessfully commercialised our VQ technologies, agreed terms for the supply ofthe technology to a major company within the marketplace, formed a joint ventureto further commercialise the technology and are continuing to penetrate other VQmarkets by providing unique solutions." "The TC-1000 & TC-2000 projects have been merged into one, under TC-2000 forease of manufacturing, maintenance, part procurement and support. These productshave gone through numerous field tests for fine tuning, final feedback has beenreceived and should go into production in the very near future for call centresacross the UK and Europe, ahead of the European Directive 2003/10/EC that comesinto force in April 2006." "Also, Tecteon and Clement Clarke Communications Limited ("C3") have formed anew joint venture company called Qstik PLC ("Qstik"). Qstik's main focus will bein developing DSP-based 'military-grade' voice enhancement technologies, as wellas a range of digitally-enhanced voice communication products for thebusiness-to-business and mass consumer electronics markets." "The commercial arrangements between Qstik and Tecteon for licensing Tecteon'stechnologies have been agreed in principle for three main areas; mass electronicproducts, business-to-business and military products, for which Qstik will haveexclusivity. In all the three areas, the licence fees are agreed based on aprearranged framework." "Qstik expects to launch its first product in the spring of 2006 incorporatingTecteon's latest voice quality and listening comfort technologies for the mobilecommunication sector." "The RDP-3, a follow up product of RDP-2, is now in the development process forthe telecommunication market." "In conclusion, I am pleased with the progress we have made with the developmentof our technologies over the past year and the recent joint venture with C3. Wenow have a very good opportunity to market our technologies to a wider audienceand I believe that Qstik will help Tecteon's marketing in the new voice qualitymarket.
