Castings PLC16 August 2005 At the Annual General Meeting of Castings plc today, Chairman Brian Cooke willissue the following update on trading: Further to my statement in the annual report and accounts, I am pleased toreport that we will be going ahead with the new machine shop for CNC Speedwelland expect to commence building in October. Compared to this time last year, sales and earnings are ahead and without anyunforeseen events we expect a satisfactory half year result.
