Appointment of Financial Adviser and Broker and Secondary Placing

Further to the announcement earlier today, Spinnaker Opportunities Plc (LON: SOP), the Standard Listed cash shell established to make a material acquisition in the energy or industrial sectors, announces the appointment of Peterhouse Capital Limited ("Peterhouse"), as Spinnaker's financial adviser and joint broker (alongside SI Capital) with immediate effect. 

Peterhouse has today placed 4,200,000 existing ordinary shares in the Company with a small number of new investors on behalf of certain current shareholders at five pence per share (the "Secondary Placing"), an aggregate investment of £210,000.

The Secondary Placing comprises 1,200,000 ordinary shares (4.1 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital) held by Mr Liddell, 2,000,000 ordinary shares held by Mike Doherty and his wife (6.8 per cent. in aggregate of the Company's issued share capital) and 1,000,000 ordinary shares held by certain other shareholders. Following these sales, none of these individuals owns any ordinary shares in the Company, however any options and warrants issued at IPO are unaffected by the Secondary Placing.

Commenting on the developments, Andy Morrison, Chairman of Spinnaker said:
