Desire Petroleum PLC16 October 2007 Desire Petroleum plc ("Desire" or "the Company") Additional listing and TVR Application has been made for the admission to trading on AIM of 813595 newordinary shares in Desire following the exercise of an equivalent number ofoptions on 16 October 2007. 478,239 options were exercised at 20.11p per shareand 335,356 options were exercised at 21.74p per share. Admission is expected tooccur on 22 October 2007. Following the exercise of these options, Desire has 227,128,012 ordinary sharesin issue with an equivalent number of voting rights.
