Desire Petroleum PLC10 September 2007 Desire Petroleum plc ("Desire" or "the Company") Additional listing and TVR Application has been made for the admission to trading on AIM of 2,758,395 newordinary shares in Desire following the exercise of an equivalent number ofoptions on 7 September 2007 at 23.07p per share. Admission is expected to occuron 13 September 2007. Dr Colin Phipps, Chairman, has exercised 1,079,358 of these options andfollowing the exercise owns 1,079,358 ordinary shares, representing 0.48 percent. of the enlarged issued share capital of the Company. In addition, DrPhipps is interested in the 30,582,633 ordinary shares held by Phipps & CoLimited which represent 13.5 per cent. of the enlarged issued share capital ofthe Company. Following the exercise of these options, Desire has 226,314,417 ordinary sharesin issue with an equivalent number of voting rights.
