Desire Petroleum PLC07 August 2007 Desire Petroleum plc ("Desire" or the "Company") Additional Listing and TVR Application has today been made for 539,679 new ordinary shares in the Companyto be admitted to trading on AIM, as a result of the exercise of the equivalentnumber of share options in Desire. Admission is expected to occur on 10 August2007. Following the exercise of these options, Desire has 223,556,022 ordinary sharesin issue with an equivalent number of voting rights.
