Yell Group plc (the "Company")

An application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange for a block listing of 2,947,583 ordinary shares of 1 pence each fully paid in the Company. 

The shares have been issued to satisfy obligations under the Yell Group plc 2003 Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Upon issuance the shares will trade on the London Stock Exchange, be admitted to the Official list and will rank equally with the existing ordinary shares.

Admission is expected to become effective on or around 21 January 2010.
