Proposed acquisition of Mobile Phones Direct Limited
AO World plc ("Company") announces that it has received Financial Conduct Authority approval for the change of control of Mobile Phones Direct Limited ("MPD"). Subject to the satisfaction (or waiver, if applicable) of the remaining conditions to, and to the other terms of, the proposed acquisition of MPD (as further detailed in the circular of the Company dated 9 November 2018), the Company anticipates that completion of the acquisition will occur within the next two weeks. A further announcement will be made when appropriate.
