Tata Tea Limited23 August 2006 At a meeting of the Board of Directors of the company held today it wasdecided, subject to receipt of necessary approvals, if any, to invest inacquiring a shareholding in Energy Brands Inc., USA (EBI) . EBI, commonly knownas Glaceau(R) is engaged in the high growth business of enhanced water andmarkets Vitaminwater, Smartwater, Fruitwater etc. The company alongwith its Promoter, Tata Sons Ltd (subject to approval of itsBoard) will together acquire 30% shareholding in EBI with an aggregateinvestment of US$677 million.
