Aberdeen City Council publishes 2020/21 budget reports

Aberdeen City Council today (24 February 2020) published reports outlining its budget proposals for 2020/21 in relation to:

·; General Fund Revenue and Capital Investment Programme;

·; Housing Revenue Account (HRA) and Capital Investment Programme;

·; Common Good Fund.

A balanced budget has been proposed, taking into account the requirement for savings, the need to protect services and the requirement to meet Scottish Government funding conditions. The Council is governed by the Local Government Finance Act 1992 and projected expenditure must be matched by income.

The 2020/21 budget will be set by elected members at a meeting of the full Council on 3 March 2019. The budget reports can be found at https://committees.aberdeencity.gov.uk/ieListDocuments.aspx?CId=122&MId=7194
