Xchanging plc, the fast growing international, pure play business processing company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Pat O'Driscoll as an Independent Non-Executive Director effective 3 November 2008.
Pat is an experienced business leader with an outstanding executive career in retail and manufacturing. Pat is currently Chief Restructuring Officer in EMI Music now owned by Terra Firma Capital Partners and is recognised for her past achievements as Chief Executive Officer of Northern Foods plc and as a consumer driven change leader in Shell's retail business in Europe. This follows earlier success at Safeway plc, Tesco plc and Marks & Spencer plc.
In addition to serving on the board of directors of Xchanging plc, Pat O'Driscoll will serve on the Company's Audit, Nominations and Remuneration Committees.
Commenting on Pat O'Driscoll's appointment, Mr Nigel Rich, Chairman of Xchanging plc, said: "We are delighted to welcome Pat to the board of Xchanging plc. Pat's board and leadership experience will be invaluable to help develop Xchanging's international growth strategy."
