Lazard World Trust Fund (the "Company")
Result of AGM
The Board of Company announces that at the Annual General Meeting ("AGM") held today at 3:00 p.m. (Luxembourg time), all resolutions were duly passed with the exception of Resolution 1 (the approval of the continuation of the Company).
As Resolution 1 has not been passed, it is the Board's intention to consult with shareholders prior to formulating proposals to be put to all shareholders in accordance with the articles of incorporation of the Company (the "Articles"). The Board will begin those shareholder consultations as soon as practicable.
Proxy results will shortly be available online at www.lazardworldtrustfund.com.
In light of the above, the Board are suspending the share buyback programme until further notice.
