Appointment of Non-executive Director
W Resources Plc (AIM:WRES), the tungsten, tin and gold mining and exploration company with assets in Spain and Portugal, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Ismael Cabanillas Verde to the Board of the Company as a Non-executive Director with immediate effect.
Mr Cabanillas Verde is an experienced professional having spent almost 20 years in different companies and sectors. He spent more than nine years at Sistemas de Automatismo y Control S.A ("Saconsa") where he worked as General Manager. Saconsa is a subsidiary company of Grupo Joca, one of the leading civil work and real estate construction companies in the southwest of Spain. During this time, the company grew its business within existing markets and developed new markets and sectors. Saconsa's main areas of business are electrical installations & automation, the management of Operations and Maintenance (O&M) in industrial processes, renewable energy and waste-water plants.
Most recently, during the last 7 years, Mr Cabanillas Verde was the CEO of Masusin4, S.L. which owns a group of companies dedicated to production and international trading in the agri-food industry sector, engineering, biotechnology and renewable energy.
Mr Cabanillas Verde holds a MEng in Telecommunications from University of Seville and completed the Business Administration Program (PIDE) at the San Telmo Business School, Seville.
