eServGlobal Announces Board Changes

Sydney, 23 July, 2009

eServGlobal Limited (LSE: ESG & ASX: ESV), a provider of end-to-end solutions, enabling smart communication, charging and payment services, today announces changes to the structure of the board.

The directors have considered the makeup of the board in terms of both achieving the effective oversight of the business at an appropriate cost and with regard to meeting its statutory and regulatory obligations in Australia and the UK. It was agreed that a smaller board would be more appropriate for the business going forward. As a result of this review, the following changes have taken place:

Mr David Smart has been appointed as Non-executive Chairman.

Mr Ian Buddery continues to be involved with the business going forward as a non-executive director and will continue to be involved in an investor facing role.

Mr Richard Mathews has been appointed as an executive director. He is also the company's Chief Executive Officer.

Mr Laurent Lafarge has resigned from the board.

Mr Jim Pratt and Mr Graham Libbeson have volunteered to step down. 

The company wishes to thank Jim and Graham for their many years of service, during a time in which business operations have doubled in size and revenue increased threefold.

There is no further information required to be disclosed in relation to Richard Mathews pursuant to Schedule Two paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules.

Mr Ian Buddery, who served as Executive Chairman since 2003 said, "We believe that eServGlobal is entering a new stage of development and growth and, with the benefit of the recently appointed senior executive team, it is appropriate to have an independent Chairman, leading a smaller board. We are confident that the new board team will achieve our business objectives and growth in shareholder value."
