Walker,Crips,Weddle,Beck PLC21 March 2005 WALKER, CRIPS, WEDDLE, BECK PLC DESPATCH OF CIRCULAR RELATING TO THE PROPOSED ACQUISITION OF G&E INVESTMENT SERVICES LIMITED Further to the announcement dated 11 February 2005, Walker, Crips, Weddle, Beckplc ("WCWB"), the fully listed stock and share broker, announces that it hastoday posted to shareholders a circular relating to the proposed acquisition ofthe entire issued share capital of G&E Investment Services Limited, parentcompany of the London York Group (the "Acquisition"). The Acquisition is conditional upon, inter alia, the approval of WCWB'sshareholders in general meeting. Accordingly, the circular contains Notice of anExtraordinary General Meeting to be held on Wednesday 6 April 2005. Completionof the Acquisition is expected to take place on Thursday 7 April 2005. Application has been made for the 800,000 new ordinary shares in WCWB to beissued as part of the initial consideration to be admitted to the Official Listof the UK Listing Authority and an application will be made for admission totrading on the London Stock Exchange's market for listed securities.
