The Vitec Group PLC05 February 2007 5 February 2007 The Vitec Group plc Maria C Richter appointed Non-Executive Director The Vitec Group plc announces that Maria Richter will join the Board on 28February 2007. Ms Richter is currently a non-executive director of National Grid plc and ThePantry Inc. Originally trained in law, much of her career has been spent in theUSA and South America working for Morgan Stanley and Salomon Brothers. Ms Richter will succeed Sir David Bell, who will step down from the Boardfollowing the AGM in May after 10 years of valuable service to the Board througha period of considerable change and development. Michael Harper, Chairman of Vitec, said: "We are very grateful to Sir David Bell for his contribution to the successfuldevelopment of Vitec and wish him every success in the future. "We welcome Maria Richter to the Board. I am sure that her enthusiasm and broadexperience in international corporate finance will assist in the furtherdevelopment of the Company."
