The directors of Coburg Group Plc are pleased to announce that, further to the interim results announcement which was made on 31 January 2013, Mr. Mark Parker has been appointed as a Non - Executive Director of the Company with immediate effect.
Mark Edwin Parker (aged 60), is an experienced mining exploration entrepreneur and will provide natural resources sector expertise and access to potential value-enhancing deals to the board. Mark spent some 14 years as Managing Director of African Eagle Resources plc building a successful mining exploration business listed on AIM. He stepped down as African Eagle's MD in December 2011, and left the board in April 2012, to become founder and CEO of Equator Gold, an unlisted company exploring for gold in the newly independent state of South Sudan.
