Trans-Siberian Gold PLC06 June 2007 Trans-Siberian Gold plc Sale of Krasnoyarsk properties - update Veduga licence extension London: 6 June 2007 - Trans-Siberian Gold plc ("TSG" or "the Company") (TSG.L)is pleased to report that one of the two remaining conditions to the sale of itsKrasnoyarsk based subsidiaries, OOO GRK Amikan ("Amikan") and OOO AS AngarskayaProizvodstvennaya Kompaniya ("AS APK"), to AngloGold Ashanti Limited for a cashconsideration of US$40 million has been satisfied. The Russian Federal Agency for Subsoil Use has approved an amendment to Amikan'sVeduga mining licence whereby Amikan's development plan for the licence areamust be submitted and approved no later than 1 January 2009, with constructionof mine infrastructure to begin no later than 1 January 2010. A minimumdesignated throughput of 250,000 tonnes per annum must be achieved no later than31 December 2013. The disposals remain conditional upon the approval of the Federal Anti-MonopolyService of the Russian Federation. A further announcement in respect of the satisfaction of the remaining conditionto the completion of the sale of the Krasnoyarsk companies will be made in duecourse.
