Board change
Tarsus Group plc (LSE: TRS, "Tarsus" or the "Group"), the international business-to-business media group, announces that Roger Pellow has stepped down from the Board, with immediate effect, in order to focus completely upon the newly created role of Group Commercial Director.
One of the key pillars of the Group's strategy is the replication of its events, both domestically and internationally. Roger will now drive these key initiatives as well as continuing to work with the Labels team as Chairman of that division.
Roger led the team which has transformed the Labelexpo series from a portfolio of 3 shows on acquisition into its current position as a highly successful worldwide portfolio of 12 shows.
Douglas Emslie, Group Managing Director commented:
"On behalf of the directors, I would like to thank Roger for his considerable contribution over the last 12 years as a director on the main board. I am confident that in this new Group-wide role, he will drive forward one of the key areas of our "Quickening the Pace" strategy."
Separately today the Group has published its half year results for the six months to 30 June 2013.
